Ever wonder why Catholic churches have columns, domes, murals, and more?
Ever wish you could explain why your parish church looks the way it does?
Come find out! You’ll never look at a church the same way again.
This free lecture is open to all. Especially encouraged to attend are parish worship committee members, church decorators, musicians, catechists, teachers, youth ministers, and everyone else in the pew!
Following Dr. McNamara's lecture, he will give a tour of the Church of St. Aloysius, which was featured in "On the Road with Jason Davis" in 2007 when the parish completed its renovation project. View the video here.
