Publishes seven times a year (every six weeks) September-June.
The Office of Communications produces The Prairie Catholic, the official publication of the Diocese of New Ulm. This award-winning communication vehicle, in both print and online, shares in the mission of proclaiming Christ’s saving message by providing news, information, and education. Its focus is on the bishop’s priorities of evangelization, Catholic education, marriage and life issues, social concerns, catechesis, timely Catholic news, and diocesan and parish information. The newspaper is funded in-part by donations to the annual United States Conference of Catholic Bishops CATHOLIC COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN held annually in May.
