Join Bishop LeVoir for a special Mass at the Cathedral marking the opening of the Year of Mercy! Don't miss the unprecedented opening of the "Door of Mercy" for our Diocese!

The event will begin in the Cathedral High School Gym at 3 PM, at which time there will be a procession down the block to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Bishop LeVoir will then open the Holy "Doors of Mercy" which will remain open for the entirety of the year, marking the Cathedral as a special place of pilgrimage. A reception will follow the Mass.

It is at the request of Pope Francis that Holy Doors are being opened at cathedrals throughout the world on this day. A plenary indulgence may be obtained at any time throughout the year by walking through the Holy Doors under the usual conditions for a plenary indulgence. Read more!
