World Youth Day
On July 20, 2016, 15 people from the Diocese of New Ulm began their pilgrimage to Poland for World Youth Day. They visited holy sites in Poland such as the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, the city of Wadowice (Pope St. John Paul II's birthplace), and Shrine of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki. Approximately 3,000,000 people attended World Youth Day and joined Pope Francis in proclaiming their Catholic faith.
